The HF Scientific 09952 Total Chlorine Reagent is a reliable and economical choice for monitoring total chlorine levels. Designed for use with colorimetric DPD (N,N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine) chemistry, it accurately measures chlorine levels up to 10 mg/L. The monitor allows flexible measurement cycles ranging from 90 seconds to 10 minutes, optimizing reagent use and control. Each measurement cycle begins with a zero measurement to account for sample color, ensuring precise results.
The monitor provides a scalable 4 to 20 mA output and features RS-485 with Modbus communication, along with two user-selectable alarm relays. It is housed in a durable NEMA 4X (IP66) corrosion-resistant enclosure, ready for surface mounting. The transparent cover allows easy viewing of the measured values, sample chamber, and removable cuvette.
Installation is straightforward with user-supplied 1/2″ OD semi-rigid or rigid tubing, which connects via a push-to-connect fitting, supporting pressures from 1 to 200 psi. The sample drain is facilitated through a 1/2″ hose barbed fitting, with the drain hose available separately. The monitor operates on a 100 to 240 VAC power input (47 to 63 Hz), with a power cord or hard wiring options available. Please note that dry chemical reagents are not included and must be ordered separately.
