Efficient SUNRUI BWTS

SUNRUI BWTS employs a comprehensive approach, incorporating filtration during ballasting, disinfection using electrolytically generated oxidants, and neutralization at de-ballasting, to effectively treat onboard ballast water.

SUNRUI BWMS treatment procedure includes 4 major parts: Filtration, Seawater Electro-chlorination for disinfection, Neutralization and Control System.

Automatic Back-Flushing Filter Unit(AFU)

The ballast filter is an efficient, self-cleaning system with a 50-micron screen, removing larger particles. It minimizes oxidant consumption and discharges dirty water as needed.

Electrolytic Disinfection Unit(EDU)

The electrolytic unit generates sodium hypochlorite from seawater and injects it into the ballast pipe for disinfection. By-product hydrogen is safely separated and diluted before release. It uses seawater from various sources.

Automatic Neutralization Unit(ANU)

The automatic neutralization unit uses Na2S2O3 to neutralize residual chlorite during de-ballasting. The by-products, NaCl and Na2SO4, are environmentally safe.

Monitoring And Control System

The control system oversees SUNRUI BalClor® BWMS operation. It monitors and manages components via local and remote control cabinets.
